The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

My most vivid memory of Penn State is of sitting in the stands at Beaver Stadium amid the tumultuous ovation for the Nittany Lions football team as the players entered the stadium. It still give me goosebumps to remember it, and it happens every time I watch one of their games on television now. Back in the forties when the servicemen were returning from World War II, there was an atmosphere of pure joy and pride for our country and our university. I transferred to Penn State as a senior but that one year was so impressive that I returned for some graduate work which, unfortunately, I did not complete. My year and a half at Penn State and the friends I made there will always be foremost in my memory bank. My life since then has been fairly routine with a job, marriage, children and pride in being an American.
